Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Dell servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Administer Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS).
  • Manage and maintain virtualization platforms, primarily VMware vSphere.
  • Implement and enforce system security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide advanced technical support and problem resolution for system-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of services.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures thoroughly.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support as required to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, specifically with Dell hardware.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022) and services.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Solid understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere.
  • Experience with network protocols, services, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) solutions.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation of routine tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
