Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Architect to join our dynamic team in Sheffield, England. This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative professional passionate about design excellence and delivering impactful projects. As an Architect at AHR, you will be integral to the full lifecycle of our diverse architectural projects, from initial concept design through to construction and completion. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design and technical development of architectural projects across various stages.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, detailed drawings, specifications, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects adhere to regulatory requirements, building codes, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, clients, and external consultants.
  • Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee and mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, addressing technical issues and ensuring quality control during construction.
  • Contribute to bid proposals and business development activities.

Required Skills

  • ARB registration (or equivalent international qualification recognized for UK practice) and RIBA Part III (or international equivalent).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning policies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing design excellence and technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Eligibility for Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) Visa sponsorship (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in specific sectors such as education, healthcare, or large-scale residential projects.
  • Proficiency in 3D visualization software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray).
  • Accreditation in sustainable design methodologies (e.g., BREEAM, Passivhaus).
  • Experience with BIM methodologies and integrated project delivery.
