Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and stow products in designated locations within the fulfillment center, ensuring proper inventory placement.
  • Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality by using handheld scanners and following precise instructions.
  • Pack and ship customer orders, preparing them for delivery using appropriate packaging materials and methods.
  • Sort and consolidate packages efficiently for outgoing shipments, optimising space and transit times.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks, after comprehensive training and certification, if applicable, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Utilize handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory, locate items, and complete tasks accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals and ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Identify and resolve basic inventory and shipping issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work full-time hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 kg and stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift) with repetitive movements.
  • Basic computer literacy for using internal systems and handheld devices.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using an RF scanner or other inventory management tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules based on business needs.
