Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist efficiently with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process.
- Manage all aspects of reservations, cancellations, modifications, and room assignments accurately using the hotel management software.
- Process payments precisely and handle cash, credit card, and other financial transactions securely.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, direct them to the appropriate departments, and take accurate messages.
- Provide guests with comprehensive and accurate information about hotel facilities, services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, seeking effective solutions to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and highly presentable reception area at all times, reflecting hotel standards.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries for guests and staff with care.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, report generation, and other duties as required.
- Ensure strict compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1.5 years) in a customer service or front desk role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a professional and friendly tone.
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Familiarity with the local area, attractions, and amenities in Lagos, particularly Ogudu and its environs.
- Ability to speak additional local languages (e.g., Yoruba) is a distinct advantage.
