Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior waiters in serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Set up dining areas, including arranging tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and condiments according to hotel standards.
- Clear tables efficiently, ensuring dishes and utensils are removed promptly and discreetly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other necessities for guests throughout their meal.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with taking food and beverage orders when required, ensuring accuracy.
- Learn and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support the overall operation of the restaurant and banquet services as needed.
