Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Architect to join our vibrant team in Sheffield. This is a unique opportunity for an Architect with a passion for innovative design and a strong technical background to contribute to a diverse portfolio of challenging and rewarding projects across the UK. We are particularly interested in candidates who may require Tier 2 Visa sponsorship, and we are prepared to support the right individual through this process. You will be instrumental in all stages of project delivery, from conceptual design and client engagement through to detailed technical design, contractor liaison, and on-site supervision. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to design development from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, detailed drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
  • Manage project documentation, including planning applications, building regulations submissions, and tender packages.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, monitoring construction progress and ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
  • Mentor junior architectural staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Stay abreast of architectural trends, regulations, and sustainable design principles.
  • Ensure all work adheres to UK building regulations and relevant planning policies.

Required Skills

  • ARB registration (or eligibility for registration) in the UK.
  • A minimum of 4 years post-Part 3 professional experience.
  • Proficiency in architectural software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrable experience across various project stages and sectors.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Eligibility for Tier 2 Visa sponsorship (if applicable).

  • Experience with BIM methodologies and software.
