In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs on Zoom’s suite of products and solutions to our diverse customer base and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive training content, including presentations, user guides, hands-on exercises, and video tutorials for Zoom products and features.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to internal teams (sales, support) and external customers via in-person workshops, webinars, and virtual classrooms.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and tailor training programs to meet specific audience requirements and learning objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Zoom's platform, staying current with product updates, new features, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance during and after training sessions, addressing participant questions and challenges.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials and to provide feedback from the field.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, continuously seeking ways to improve content and delivery.
- Contribute to the development of a scalable training infrastructure and knowledge base resources.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in technical training, corporate education, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with the Zoom platform and its advanced features.
- Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtually.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and master new software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in developing engaging training materials using various tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, video editing software).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Computer Science, Communications, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a SaaS company or with collaboration software.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design principles.
- Certification in technical training or instructional design.
- Experience with adult learning methodologies and designing blended learning experiences.
