Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming products and materials, verifying counts and inspecting for damage.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation to ensure product freshness, availability, and reduce waste.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage and optimize space.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or potential hazards promptly to maintain operational integrity.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations and maintain workflow efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, including counting and labeling.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to attendance.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
