Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, file management, and correspondence.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from offer acceptance to first day.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR information systems, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to appropriate HR specialists.
- Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Support HR reporting and analytics by gathering and compiling relevant data.
- Process HR-related paperwork, including new hire documents, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic HR principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the retail industry.
