Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of department associates, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily department operations, including merchandising, inventory control, stock rotation, and product presentation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a customer-centric environment.
  • Monitor department sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage product ordering, receiving, and storage to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to store management.
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors and store management to ensure seamless store operations and a cohesive team effort.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a retail supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including merchandising and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
