Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships, focusing on their financial goals and needs.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses, including retirement planning, investment strategies, college savings, and risk management.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and cultivate referrals to expand client base.
- Present tailored financial solutions, including investment products, banking services, and credit solutions, in alignment with client objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends, economic indicators, and changes in financial regulations to provide up-to-date advice.
- Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., mortgage consultants, private bankers) to offer holistic financial solutions.
- Ensure all activities adhere to Wells Fargo's compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular performance reviews and portfolio updates to clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance expertise and maintain certifications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses are required
- Life and Health Insurance licenses
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or a related client-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients
- Proven track record of exceeding sales or client acquisition targets
- Strong understanding of the Long Beach market and community
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages common in the Long Beach community
