Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present complex information clearly.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support immediate business inquiries and strategic planning, providing timely and accurate information.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various data sources, implementing data quality checks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and written reports.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models and data dictionaries, ensuring data governance standards are met.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and analytical trends in data science and analytics.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis and interpret results, deriving actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering).
