This unique opportunity is specifically tailored for individuals eligible for the TN Visa program, allowing qualified American professionals to work in Canada. As a Web Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that power our platform. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy highly responsive and scalable web applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack and development processes.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java) and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Demonstrated ability to write unit and integration tests.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship, enabling eligibility for the TN Visa program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset for living and working in Montreal.
- Previous experience working under a TN Visa or similar international work permit.
