Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Web Designer with a strong focus on User Interface (UI) and overall website aesthetics to join our dynamic marketing and digital innovation team at MC Systems. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in translating our brand vision and business objectives into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning digital experiences. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of web design, from conceptualizing innovative layouts and crafting pixel-perfect interfaces to ensuring seamless user journeys across all our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites, landing pages, and digital assets in line with brand guidelines.
- Translate wireframes and prototypes into high-fidelity UI designs, ensuring consistency and adherence to established design systems.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand project requirements, target audiences, and key messaging.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing and interaction across a wide range of devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iteratively improve design solutions.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide necessary design assets.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance our design capabilities.
- Maintain and evolve our digital design system, style guides, and component libraries.
- Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UI/UX design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects, demonstrating a clear understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Ability to articulate design decisions and concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript understanding (enough to communicate effectively with developers).
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or similar platforms.
