Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort incoming and outgoing parcels based on destination, size, and type.
- Scan and record parcel information accurately using handheld devices and internal systems.
- Load and unload parcels from delivery vehicles and conveyor belts with precision.
- Identify and segregate damaged or misrouted packages, reporting issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures, operational guidelines, and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required to ensure accurate records.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys (training provided if necessary and required).
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 25kg) repeatedly and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent team player with good verbal communication skills.
