Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment according to customer orders and specifications.
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles, often involving manual handling of various package sizes and weights.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and, if certified, forklifts, in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform thorough quality checks on incoming and outgoing packages to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and health & safety standards.
  • Utilise handheld scanners and basic warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory and update shipment statuses.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, drivers, and supervisors to resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurately completed and processed for both domestic and international shipments.

Required Skills

  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages up to 25kg regularly throughout the shift.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment, counting, and documentation.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a fast-paced team.
  • Basic computer literacy for using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
  • Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures within a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping environment.
  • Valid forklift operator's license (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck) with demonstrable experience.
  • Familiarity with various shipping software and inventory management systems.
  • Experience with international shipping documentation and customs procedures.
