Key Responsibilities
- Accurately package and re-package products according to specific customer requirements and DHL's stringent company standards.
- Operate basic packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training and certification.
- Conduct thorough inspections of products for quality assurance and potential damage both before and after packaging, promptly reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Apply correct labels, barcodes, and comprehensive shipping information to packages with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and ensure proper stock rotation as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to consistently meet daily production targets and operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency and team objectives.
- Handle materials and products with utmost care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 25kg), bending, and reaching for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all packaging and labelling tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to attendance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.
- Basic communication skills in English to clearly understand instructions, safety procedures, and interact with colleagues.
