Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently load, unload, pick, sort, and move products and materials by hand or using powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.
  • Perform order fulfillment activities, including picking products from designated locations based on order sheets, scanning items, and preparing them for shipment.
  • Pack and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Participate in inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
  • Operate within warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order progress.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, reach truck, pallet jack) with certification.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
