Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, pick, sort, and move products and materials by hand or using powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.
- Perform order fulfillment activities, including picking products from designated locations based on order sheets, scanning items, and preparing them for shipment.
- Pack and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Participate in inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Operate within warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order progress.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, reach truck, pallet jack) with certification.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
- High School Diploma or GED.
