Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and inspection of incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders and documentation.
- Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Participate in the picking and packing of orders according to specified requirements, preparing them for dispatch.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records to minimize discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, if certified or trained internally).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues of goods immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in line with company and industry regulations.
