Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload freight, cargo, and materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
  • Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (with proper certification).
  • Organize and stack goods in designated warehouse areas with precision and care.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists or manifests for accuracy and completeness.
  • Inspect freight for damage and report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments.
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability, including punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
