Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately load and unload freight by hand or using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Verify product quantities and ensure shipments match accompanying documentation.
  • Organize and stack materials safely and efficiently in designated warehouse locations.
  • Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or issues immediately.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and provincial regulations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) in a safe manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other general warehouse duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing shipments.
  • Basic comprehension of English for safety instructions and documentation.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Certification or experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
