Job Description
We are looking for a diligent and energetic Warehouse Clerk with a strong focus on order management to join our dynamic team in Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin. This crucial role involves working in shifts to ensure the smooth flow of goods, from receiving and stocking to picking and dispatching, all while maintaining meticulous records. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, directly impacting our ability to serve our customers efficiently. You will be responsible for accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, and ensuring that products are ready for delivery to our various store locations or direct customers. The fast-paced environment requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Given the nature of retail, this position operates on a shift basis, which may include weekends and holidays, ensuring that our operations run seamlessly 24/7. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods, verify against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to established procedures and deadlines.
- Prepare items for dispatch, including checking quality, quantity, and packaging integrity.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or trolleys (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Participate in shift handovers, providing clear and concise updates on pending tasks.
Required Skills
- Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE/GCE qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 25kg).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment (including weekends/holidays).
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Proven experience in order picking and packing.
