Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against invoices, and report discrepancies.
- Safely unload, stock, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to client specifications and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner (certification provided or preferred).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (reach truck, counterbalance).
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., WMS).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
