Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and backroom areas.
- Stock shelves and display areas with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, tagging, and tracking products.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided as needed).
- Prepare merchandise for shipping or transfer between departments or other store locations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with sales floor team members to fulfill guest orders and support store operations.
- Perform routine quality checks on merchandise to identify damages or discrepancies.
- Assist with seasonal resets and merchandising changes as directed by leadership.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently throughout a shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
