Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately sort, pack, and label products according to company specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate and monitor packaging and labelling machinery, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Perform routine quality checks on finished goods to identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation, counting, and data recording.
  • Load and unload materials and finished products, handling items with care to prevent damage.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare products for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation and protective packaging are applied.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull packages up to 25kg regularly.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counts.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6-12 months) in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Familiarity with packaging and labelling equipment or similar machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or stock control procedures.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift (certification is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
