Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspection, cleaning, pressing, and steaming of costumes and accessories to ensure pristine condition.
  • Execute minor repairs, alterations, and adjustments to costumes as needed, including sewing, mending, and patching.
  • Organize and maintain costume inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly according to Disney standards.
  • Assist performers with costume changes, ensuring comfort, proper fit, and timely transitions.
  • Launder and dry-clean costumes using appropriate methods and equipment, adhering to fabric care guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized wardrobe area, including dressing rooms and storage facilities.
  • Collaborate with wardrobe supervisors and production teams to prepare costumes for rehearsals and performances.
  • Track costume usage, damage, and maintenance needs, reporting significant issues to management.
  • Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards for all costume handling and care procedures.
  • Provide exceptional support to performers, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in costume maintenance, theatrical wardrobe, or garment care.
  • Proficiency in basic hand and machine sewing techniques.
