Key Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from trucks and transport it to the backroom or sales floor.
- Stock shelves and displays with products, ensuring proper placement and rotation.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and backroom areas.
- Verify product counts, prices, and labels, making adjustments as needed.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide general assistance when requested.
- Operate equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, after receiving proper training.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, merchandising, and customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily stocking and merchandising goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Capacity for standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
