As an Inventory Control Specialist (often integrated within our Stocking & Unloading teams), you will be the backbone of our store’s product availability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipments against invoices and report discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom and sales floor according to company standards.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize handheld devices and inventory management systems for tracking products.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and operating procedures for equipment and merchandise handling.
- Collaborate with sales floor associates to ensure product availability for customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
