Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of department associates, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of an assigned department, ensuring optimal stock levels, product freshness, and visual merchandising standards.
- Drive sales performance and manage inventory to minimize shrink and maximize profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Execute company programs, initiatives, and merchandising plans effectively.
- Monitor competitive pricing and trends to ensure Walmart remains the preferred shopping destination.
- Collaborate with other department managers and store leadership to achieve overall store goals and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in retail management or supervisory role.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
