Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and daily specials.
  • Offer detailed information regarding dishes, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing our Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to presentation standards.
  • Monitor dining tables to ensure guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and respond efficiently to any additional requests.
  • Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions with precision and integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and host staff to ensure a smooth and seamless service flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, server stations, and restaurant equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, aiming to enhance the overall dining experience for every patron.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Waiter or Server, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and processing card payments accurately.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. or meet the requirements for employer-sponsored visas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine, particularly Szechuan, Cantonese, or Mandarin dishes.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
