Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and daily specials.
- Offer detailed information regarding dishes, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to presentation standards.
- Monitor dining tables to ensure guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and respond efficiently to any additional requests.
- Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions with precision and integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and host staff to ensure a smooth and seamless service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, server stations, and restaurant equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, aiming to enhance the overall dining experience for every patron.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a Waiter or Server, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and processing card payments accurately.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. or meet the requirements for employer-sponsored visas.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine, particularly Szechuan, Cantonese, or Mandarin dishes.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese is highly advantageous.
