Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the restaurant.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain a clean and tidy restaurant environment.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card transactions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding to any needs or concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards of the establishment.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or busy periods.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a waiter/waitress role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and active listening.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
