Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus with expert knowledge of daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, paying close attention to any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to all service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, ensuring a delightful and seamless dining experience.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere strictly to all hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment within the live-in facility.

- Basic mathematical skills for handling payments and making change
- Good physical stamina, able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ years) as a Waiter or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of various cuisines, wines, and spirits
- Ability to communicate in additional languages (e.g., French, local Nigerian languages)
