Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and personalized recommendations on Virgin travel products.
- Proactively identify client needs and preferences to create tailored travel itineraries, securing bookings for flights, accommodations, cruises, tours, and more.
- Achieve and consistently exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective selling techniques and customer relationship management.
- Manage bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all Virgin Group policies and industry regulations.
- Stay current with Virgin Group's diverse product offerings, promotions, and travel industry trends to provide the most relevant and up-to-date information.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals through exceptional service.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, maintaining Virgin's high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software and other booking tools to manage client information, track sales, and streamline operational processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in travel sales or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of popular travel destinations and Virgin's travel products.
- Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- Accreditation from a recognized travel industry association (e.g., IATA, ASTA).
- Experience with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Voyages, or Virgin Holidays products.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a remote work environment.
