As a Van Driver, you will be the everyday hero for our customers, responsible for navigating local routes, loading and unloading your vehicle efficiently, and maintaining an excellent standard of customer interaction. Your day will begin at our Bedminster branch, where you’ll help prepare your van with the day’s deliveries, carefully checking orders against your manifest. You’ll then embark on your route, driving a modern, well-maintained van, delivering a wide range of products – from power tools and fixings to plumbing supplies and electrical equipment – directly to construction sites, workshops, and homes.

This role isn’t just about driving; it’s about being a brand ambassador. You’ll be the friendly face of Screwfix, often the last point of contact for our customers, so excellent communication skills and a helpful attitude are paramount. You’ll need to be adept at managing your time, adapting to changing traffic conditions, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and securely. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, company driving policies, and manual handling guidelines, ensuring both your own safety and that of the public and our customers.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, possesses a strong work ethic, and is eager to contribute to a busy, supportive team environment. If you enjoy being out on the road, meeting new people, and playing a vital role in keeping local businesses and projects running smoothly, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to accelerate your career with a leading retailer.
