Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks on job sites, including material handling, loading/unloading, and site cleanup.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, pipefitters, electricians, HVAC technicians) with their tasks as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Help set up and break down equipment and temporary structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as trenching, digging, and grading as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Dallas area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar labor-intensive role.
