Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and portion control guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., grills, fryers, ovens).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout the shift, adhering to all hygiene standards.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP principles) to ensure guest safety.
- Manage inventory and stock kitchen stations efficiently, communicating any shortages to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and smooth service.
- Learn and adapt to new menu items, cooking techniques, and kitchen procedures as introduced.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-energy kitchen environment.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset.
- Basic food handling or food safety certification (e.g., Nova Scotia Food Handler's Certificate).
- Genuine interest in culinary arts and, specifically, Irish cuisine.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
