Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research on music trends, artist performance, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform A&R strategies.
  • Assist A&R Managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing databases, and preparing reports.

  • Contribute to creative discussions and brainstorming sessions regarding artist development, song selection, and project strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of artist contacts, demos, and project statuses.
  • Support the A&R team in building and maintaining relationships with artists, producers, and songwriters.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable passion for music and a comprehensive knowledge of current music trends and emerging artists.
  • Exceptional listening skills with a keen ear for talent and commercial potential.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications
