Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service, assisting with all service needs.
  • Handle inbound and outbound packages, including receiving, sorting, and processing for shipment.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately processing cash and credit card transactions.
  • Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, and faxing services, including document preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including merchandising displays.
  • Educate customers on various UPS products, services, and packaging options, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Manage mailbox services, including rent new mailboxes and distributing mail to existing box holders.
  • Answer phones professionally, addressing customer inquiries and providing accurate information.
  • Support store operations by completing daily tasks such as inventory checks and opening/closing procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or retail sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Prior experience in a packing/shipping or print services role.
  • Notary Public commission or willingness to become one.
  • Associate’s degree or higher.
