Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trailers and feeder trucks, ensuring efficient utilization of space.
- Sort packages by destination following established procedures and using scanning technology.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any irregularities to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all UPS safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Operate sorting equipment and other warehouse machinery as required, after proper training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance to meet operational demands.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) without assistance; heavier packages with assistance.
