Key Responsibilities

  • Execute routine preventive maintenance on all facility equipment and material handling systems, including conveyors, sortation equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, manuals, and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Perform timely and effective repairs to minimize operational downtime and ensure continuous service.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to meet precise operational specifications and stringent safety standards.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts inventory.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA).
  • Collaborate effectively with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Identify and recommend proactive improvements to existing equipment, systems, and maintenance procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as required, ensuring critical issues are resolved efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of preventive maintenance principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities, accessing technical information, and communicating.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with various conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication skills.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
