Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the daily movement of freight and packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery schedules.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to track shipments, update statuses, and resolve potential delays.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (warehouse, drivers, sales) and external partners (carriers, vendors, customers) regarding shipment details and any issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and delivery receipts.
- Identify and troubleshoot logistical problems, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions and optimize processes.
- Assist in the scheduling and dispatching of drivers and vehicles, ensuring routes are optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper staging and loading of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international transportation regulations and company policies.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer service.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
