Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize daily driver routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and delivery instructions.
- Monitor real-time progress of deliveries, addressing delays, breakdowns, or other issues promptly.
- Utilize dispatching software and GPS tracking systems to oversee fleet movement and performance.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., customer service, warehouse) to resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Train and onboard new drivers on route procedures and dispatch protocols as needed.
- Provide exceptional support to drivers, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Assist in emergency situations, coordinating appropriate responses and resources.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS, and other logistical tools.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with local geographical area (Glendale, Arizona and surrounding regions).
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
