Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join our dynamic team in Amadi Flats, Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt. This is a critical role within our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to our customers, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver beloved brands to millions across Nigeria. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and variances.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and innovation.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and disruptions promptly and effectively.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Suite applications.
  • Sound knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and inventory management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CILT).
  • Experience with demand planning and forecasting tools.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost reductions in a supply chain environment.
  • Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations.
