Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior scientists, ensuring scientific rigor and reproducibility.
- Accurately collect, record, and analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical and analytical tools.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Prepare samples and reagents, ensuring proper calibration and quality control.
- Interpret results, draw conclusions, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and patent applications.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D colleagues, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, quality standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Stay abreast of relevant scientific literature and technological advancements in the field.
- Assist in troubleshooting experimental issues and developing innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in an academic or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in experimental design and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of general laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, Rheometry).
- Familiarity with formulation development processes for consumer goods.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
