Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Southside, Jacksonville. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating new hire paperwork.
- Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for new employees, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems (HRIS) and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits with professionalism and efficiency.
- Support HR Business Partners with various projects, data analysis, and report generation.
- Coordinate HR-related meetings, training sessions, and employee engagement events.
- Process HR-related documentation, including employment verifications, status changes, and terminations.
- Assist with payroll processing support and benefits administration tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive support and communication.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Experience in a large, global organization.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
