Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, card sorting, and ethnographic studies.
- Recruit and screen participants for research studies, ensuring diverse and relevant representation.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user behaviors, needs, pain points, and motivations.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps to communicate insights and build a shared understanding of users.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research findings into product strategy and design decisions.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our research methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in UI/UX research to ensure our approaches remain cutting-edge.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX research, user experience, or a related field.
- Proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys, A/B testing).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with user research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Optimal Workshop).
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing examples of research projects and their impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, or a related field.
- Experience conducting research within the financial services or banking industry.
- Certification in UX Research or Design Thinking.
