Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user needs.
- Contribute to the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
- Participate in design critiques and present design concepts and iterations to the team, articulating design decisions and rationale.
- Help maintain and evolve design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.
- Support the preparation of design assets for development teams, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Fundamental understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
- A developing portfolio showcasing academic projects, personal work, or previous internships demonstrating an eye for design and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS) to understand technical constraints and possibilities.
- Ability to speak French or German is a plus.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation for UI elements.
