- Safely and efficiently transport items to customers' specified delivery addresses.
- Provide friendly and professional service to both merchants and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and support channels regarding order status.
- Ensure the integrity and freshness of delivered items during transit.
- Manage delivery times efficiently to meet customer expectations.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (or state ID for bicycle/scooter deliveries where applicable)
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle)
- Smartphone with data plan to use the Uber Driver app
- Ability to pass a background check
- At least 19 years old (18 for bicycle/scooter deliveries)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with the Campustown/Ames area
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
