Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tyre Technician with expertise in wheel alignment and vulcanizing to join our dynamic team in Slaughter, Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional tire fitting, rotation, and balancing for various vehicle types, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct accurate wheel alignment services using advanced diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal vehicle handling and tire wear.
- Execute expert vulcanizing and puncture repair services for all types of tires, adhering strictly to safety and quality standards.
- Inspect tires thoroughly for wear, damage, and pressure, providing informed and transparent recommendations to customers.
- Operate and maintain a range of tire service equipment, including tire changers, balancers, and wheel alignment machines.
- Assist customers with tire selection, providing expert advice on suitable products and services tailored to their needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the vulcanizing shop and all service bays at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Document services performed accurately and efficiently, maintaining comprehensive records.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and superior customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tyre Technician with a strong focus on wheel alignment and vulcanizing techniques.
- Proficiency in operating advanced tire service equipment (tire changers, balancers, alignment machines).
- Solid understanding of tire types, sizes, pressure, and their critical impact on vehicle performance and safety.
- Ability to accurately diagnose tire and wheel-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong mechanical aptitude.
