Brawal Oil Services Limited is actively seeking dedicated and energetic Truck Loaders to join our warehouse and logistics team in Marine Base, Port Harcourt. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload cargo, materials, and equipment onto and from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Verify quantities, types, and condition of goods being loaded or unloaded against shipping documents.
  • Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and proficiently.
  • Ensure proper stacking, securing, and balancing of cargo to prevent damage during transit and storage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse and loading docks.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in inventory management tasks, including counting, sorting, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and other team members to optimize workflow.
  • Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments and preventing errors.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1+ years) in a warehouse, logistics, or cargo handling environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other heavy material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or procedures.
